George H. Flynn, age 78, of Milford and formerly of Stamford and beloved husband to the late Barbara Koda Flynn passed away at home on Monday, May 7, 2012. Born on May 1, 1934 in Mamaroneck, NY, he was the son of the late George and Edna Flynn. George attended Wright Tech in Stamford and learned the trade of drafting. As a young man, George served in the Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement, George was a draftsman with Philips Medical Systems, formerly of Shelton.
George is survived by his two sons, George “Rusty” Flynn, Jr. of NY, and Shawn Flynn and McKenzie Granata of Milford, his four cherished grandchildren, Cody, Dakota, Zoe and Casey Flynn, his sister Judi Russo of Stamford, his brother Jan Flynn of OH as well as several nieces and nephews.
