George Garcia, 55, resident of Santa Clara passed away Friday August 4, 2017 in Deming. George was born January 3, 1962 in Silver City to Samuel P. and Betty (Ortiz) Garcia. He loved the great outdoors and that eventually led him to a passion in doing landscaping. He also enjoyed long walks in the Rockies of Santa Clara and is remembered as having a big heart. George was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his sister, Marlene Pennell (Keith) of Deming; nephews, Daniel and Jonathan Lerma; nieces, Priscilla and Julieanna Lerma; and his cuñados, Danny and Bibo Lerma.
