Mr. George Franklin Simmons, 84, of 455 Shoreline Drive, Fayetteville died Wednesday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy White Simmons of the home; a daughter, Audrey Simmons-Jackson of Hempstead, NY; step children, Thomas Hedgebeth and Valencia Harrington both of Fayetteville and Rodney Batts of New York, NY. A sister, Juanity Newman of Fayetteville; two grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
