George F. Raffile Sr., 85, of West Haven passed away Wednesday December 28, 2011 at CT Hospice. He was the husband of the late Teresa Kowaleski Raffile. Father of George F. (Barbara) Raffile Jr., Damian P. (Kathy) Raffile, Jacqueline A. Raffile, Kristen A. (Fred) Williams and Mark J. Raffile. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Edwin and Margaret Haggerty Raffile Sr. and brothers Edwin Raffile Jr. and Eugene Raffile. Before his retirement he was employed by the State of Connecticut as a domestic relations officer. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.
