George F. Prentice, Jr. 88, of Ringgold, died Thursday, October 20, 2016, in a local hospital.
He was retired from E. I. Dupont Corp. and was a US Naval veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years: Viola Malone Prentice, and a daughter: Katherine Zeller.
He is survived by two sons: Lewis Prentice, Chickamauga, and Fred Prentice, Tunnel Hills, GA, and eight grandchildren.
