George E. Webb, Sr. George E. Webb, Sr., 70, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Danbury, husband of Janice (Meade) Webb died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Webb was born in Danbury, September 24, 1942, a son of the late Milton D. Sr. and Nellie (Owens) Webb. He attended Danbury schools and was a retired self-employed carpenter. Mr. Webb was a member of the Beckerle Hose Company of Danbury and a 17 year member of the Deep Creek Elks of Port Charlotte, FL. In addition to his wife, Mr. Webb is survived a daughter, Carol Achdou of West New York, NJ, a son, George Webb Jr. and his wife, Petra of Jonesborough, TN, and step daughters, Dawn Murphy and her husband, Stephen of Gardener, MA, Lisa Caponera-Urzua and her husband, Edwardo of El Monte, CA, a step son, Mark Caponera and his wife, Diane of Port Charlotte, FL; his siblings, Gene Webb, Ronnie Webb, Gary Webb and Kim Webb; a sister in law, Janice Webb, twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was predeceased by his brothers, David, Robert and Milton, Jr.
