George E. Leiendecker, age 93, of Cicero, IN died Monday, June 20, 2011 at his home. He was born October 12, 1917 at Indianapolis to Edgar and Venus (Peck) Leiendecker.
He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and attended Purdue University studying forestry. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He then worked as a purchasing agent for Stewart Warner Company at Indianapolis for 13 years and then as a purchasing agent at Power Equipment at Cicero, IN. Lastly he worked as a procurement specialist at General Electric at Cincinnati for 10 years.
