George Charles Deguzis, 78, widower of Pauline (Kinosh) Deguzis, passed away on Monday September 11, 2006. Mr. Deguzis was born on May 9, 1928 in Bristol CT a son of the late Charles Francis and Sophie (Gurazdowski) Deguzis. George retired from New Departure and served with the US Navy on the USS Randall.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Stephen Milas of Meriden, CT; his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Celeste Deguzis of Gillette, WY, his two grandsons, Shane and Travis Deguzis of WY; his sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Norman Peterson of Forestville, his niece Kathy Van of Simsbury, his nephews, Stephen Deguzis of Bristol, Eddie Deguzis, Jr. of Hartford, Tom Deguzis Jr. of Bristol, Jimmy Garrity of NC and Norman Peterson Jr. of Sanford, FL.
He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Eddie Deguzis, Sr.; his sister Frances Garrity and his nephew Mark Deguzis of VA.
