Warsaw, MO resident, George Anthony Moyer, 70, formerly of Terre Haute and Rosedale, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in his home in Warsaw, Mo.
George was born July 8, 1942 in Detroit, MI, where he worked at Ford Motor Company. He and his family moved to Indiana in 1972. He was a machinist in the manufacturing industry, and a jack of all trades, until a semi accident in 1993 caused his early (semi) retirement.
He was a humorous man who loved and enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and his family (in that order.) George could always be found tinkering and working on lengthy projects. He loved and adored his pet dog and 10 year companion, Peggy Sue, who was with him during his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Moyer of Detroit, MI.
