Mr. George “Albert” Minix age 86 a life long resident of Coweta County died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Riverdale,Georgia. Mr. Minix was born September 6, 1921 to the late Mr. and Mrs James & Elzie Minix. He was a Sharecropper. Mr Minix is preceded in death by his, Son Chester Minix and a granddaughter, Amy Minix. Also preceding him in death, three brothers, Virgil Minix, Duard Minix and Elzie Minix and three sisters, Lucy Baker, Minnie Smallwood and Radar Harmon, all of Coweta County.
Survivors include his wife, of 62 years, Mrs. Sara Minix and three sons, Thomas (Rachel) Minix of Sargent, Winford (Susan) Minix of Senoia and Bobby (Marlene) Minix of Sharpsburg. Also surving daughter-in-law Shirley Minix of Sharpsburg. Seven Grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
