George Albert Fleck was born on November 14, 1925 in Bigelow, Missouri. His parents were
George Washington Fleck and Lucy Gladys Reavis. He had 6 sisters and 6 brothers He grew
up on a farm, joined the Army and was with General George Patton’s Third Army in Europe. He
joined the Air Force and worked in supply. He worked at the Eglin Commissary for a number of
years and finished his career working with the Civil Engineers at Hurlburt Field. He passed away
April 19, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elma his daughters Sandra and fiancé
Wes. His daughter Tamilla, grandchildren Amanda and husband Joel, Gina, Shannon, Kimberly
and husband Lamar, Dallas and Shanna. He has 16 great grandchildren and 12 great-great
grandchildren.
enjoyed golfing, telling his military stories, reading the newspaper, going to lodge meetings, and
He loved his family, loved a good meal and even cooking in his day. He enjoyed woodworking at
one time and made many pieces with his own two hands. He loved working with farm animals.
He loved going on car rides with mom and holding Little John. His family, many friends and
associates will sorely miss him.
