Torrington- Mr. George A. Peck, Sr., 77, died Sunday, November 1, at Litchfield Woods Health Care, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Nancy (Bothroyd) Peck.
Mr. Peck was born July 4, 1932 in Waterbury, son of the late Vincent W. and Ethel B. (Krom) Peck.
A Korean War veteran, he had served honorably in the United States Army from December of 1952 until October of 1954.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, George A. Peck, Jr and his wife Sandra of Torrington; two daughters, Lori A. Fournier and her husband Robert and Melissa L. Kavula and her husband Daniel all of Torrington; one brother, Robert B. Peck of Terryville; two sisters, Marjorie E. Cole and Carol A. DeLaRosa both of CA; five grandchildren, Taylor G. Peck, Michael H. Najman, Jessica Lee Fournier, Travis James Fournier and Kassie Carol-Lee Kavula. He was pre-deceased by his grandson, Brett Robert Peck; two brothers, Vincent W. Peck and Alvin Cuddy and one sister, Barbara E. Mugnai.
