George A. Baba, 75, of Summit Hill, formerly of Bethlehem died on Monday, September 29, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus. He was the husband of Anita M. (Wieand) Baba for 53 years. Born on June 2, 1939 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anthony G. and Emma R. (Kovacs) Baba. George honorably served his country with the U.S. Army National Guard, during Vietnam. He owned and operated A.G. Baba and Gamet, Inc., Bethlehem for many years before retiring. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Summit Hill, and Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree; Trinity Council #313. Survivors: in addition to his loving wife, are sons, Jeffrey and wife Kimberly of Coplay, Eric and wife Margaret Ann of Summit Hill; grandchildren, Shaun, Nichole, and Erica; great-grandchildren, John, Hailee, and Kayla; brother Anthony and wife Ginger; sister, Mary Livingston and husband Jerry all of MD.
