Gennaro Langello, 86, of West Haven entered into rest peacefully at his home on Jan. 7, 2018 after a brave battle with illness, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Ellen Bellucci Langello. Born in New Haven on June 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Rose Consiglio Langello. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the International Painters and Allied Trades Union. He was a lifelong member of the St. Andrew Society. Besides his wife of 63 years, he is survived by one son, Lawrence (Francine) Langello of Orange; one daughter, Rosellen (John) Montgomery of Enfield; three sisters, Mary Ciccarelli and Rafael (Gennaro) Viscuso, both of New Haven and Ann Gargano of North Haven; a grandson, Nicholas Langello who gave him the joyous gift of twin great grandchildren, Aleksandr and Anastasia; as well as four other grandchildren, Charles, Carla, Emily and Anthony Hernandez. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Andrew Langello.
