Genevieve R. Genny Foy Nyce, 81 Gas City, Indiana, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Genny was one of eight children born on Friday, December 15, 1933 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late ForrestGause and the late Mary Ice Gause. She was a 1951 Graduate of Van Buren High School.
She married Eugene A. Foy. He preceded her in death and she married Bill Nyce. He also preceded her in death. Genny had worked at Anderson Carpet, Joeys Wall Paper and Hanks Supermarket and also owned and operated Gennys Bodee Boutique all of Marion. She was an avid Indiana Pacers, New York Yankees, and Chicago Cubs Fan.
Throughout her life she attended Van Buren Methodist, Highland Avenue Methodist and most recently, Upland Methodist Church. Surviving are son, Steve (Beth) Foy of Upland, IN. Daughter-in-law, Lynn (Rob) Foy-Reeder, Huntington County Grandchildren; Steve (Jennifer) Foy II and their children Kamryn, Amanda, and Steve III of Leesburg, IN Jon (Renee) Foy and their children Ashlee and Erika of Gas City, IN Gregg Foy II and his daughter Chloe of Gas City, IN Stan Foy, Bluffton, IN Frank (Jenny) Foy and their son Lachlen, TN Barbara Poe and her children Delaina and Brooklyn, Gas City Janice (Mike) Foy and her daughter Bailey of Marion and Kiana Robbins of Upland. 3 Sisters and 3 brothers.
Genny was also preceded in death by a son Gregg and one brother.
