Genevie B. Bond Bennett, passed away March 9, 2010.

She was born July 28, 1923. There is no greater gift than love. Genevie was a wonderful wife and mother who dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and as of recent, her great-great-grandchild. She survived the Great Depression, the tribulations of WWII, retired from General Motors, and enjoyed weekends at Lake Cottages in Wabash, Indiana with her family. Her favorite time was spent with her grandchildren. She never forgot her father, Henry Bond, who died when she was two; he was electrocuted while working as the Superintendent for Pendleton Light and Power. Genevie is survived by a sister, Dorothy Wilson; a daughter, Patricia Brantlinger William; grand daughter, Tracy Cullin Lynch; granddaughters, Tara Tucker, Laura Mike Lambert, William Katie Brantlinger, Jr. and John M. Bennett; great-grandchildren, Christine, Jacob, Konnor, McKenzie and Zachary; and one great-great-grandchild, Keaton. Special mention to another child Genevie dedicated much of her life, Tim Cowan.

Genevie was preceded in death by her father, Henry Bond, Mother, Mary Dowden, husband, George F. Bennett; son, William F. Bennett; daughter-in-law Mary Bennett and siblings, Myrtle Felton, Henrietta Wilson, Walter Dowden and Bud Dowden. She will be forever in our hearts and thoughts every single day.
