Geneva S. Dever, age 88, of Atlanta, IN died July 25, 2011 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born March 8, 1923 at Ingalls, IN to Kenneth and Josie (Hiday) Shaffer.
She had worked at Western Electric at Indianapolis for many years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also sold Avon in her community for 23 years. Geneva enjoyed listening to country music, doing word search puzzels and crocheting.
She married Leeper L. Dever in 1945. He preceded her in death March 14, 1980.
Surviving her is a daughter: Wilma (David) Burns of Atlanta, IN, two sons: Randall “Randy” (Mary) Dever of Atlanta, IN and Richard “Smoke” (fiance’ Marla McDermit) Dever of Elwood, IN, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
