Geneva Margie Stringer, age 74, of Newnan, GA, formerly of Mineral Bluff, GA went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2016, at Insignia of Newnan surrounded by family. Mrs. Stringer was born on March 20, 1940 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Arthur and Dessie Mae Postell.
She was a member of Hot House Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jake Stringer; son, Joseph Daniel Stahl, Jr.; and sister, Violet Pickelsimer.
She is survived by her son, Michael Stahl of Newnan, GA; daughter, Lesa (Scott) McLeod of Newnan, GA; brother, David Postell of Ducktown, TN; sisters, Ruth Newsom of Dallas, GA, and Glenda Petty of Mineral Bluff, GA; and grandchildren, Geneva Marie McLeod, Leigha Grace McLeod, Lindsey Ellen Stahl, Michael Anthony Stahl II, Lillian Marie Stahl, Logan Stahl, and Lillian Stahl.
