Gene Lee Manford, 29, of New Haven left us suddenly on June 22, 2011. He was born in Anderson, South Carolina on January 22, 1982. He was cherished by all who knew him and a friend to all who met him, a larger than life man of integrity, humor and generosity. He was the son of Deborah Robinson and longtime boyfriend and best-friend of Jessica Hackett of North Haven. Nephew of Donald (Carmel) Robinson, Patricia Robinson, Catherine (Ralph) Acquarulo, Paul (Mary) Robinson and Grandparents Donald (Nancy) Robinson. He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Beetle & Arrow, along with many other family members & friends too numerous to mention. At the time of his death he was employed as a stagehand and a member of IATSE Local #74 in New Haven and IATSE Local #1 in New York City.
