He was born June 2, 1941 in Shelbyville, Indiana, and lived in this area most of his life He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. He loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 40 yrs., Betty Griffin Edwards; children, Robert Brian Edwards, Tina Dudgeon and Kathy Cerros; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three nieces, one nephew, and special friends, Dennis and Richard Idlewine & John Borror.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer & Ruth Farthing Edwards; a son, Ron Griffin; and a brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Linda Edwards.
