Gene A. Flook, Sr., 86, of Anderson, passed away on August 22, 2020, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born on December 2, 1933, in Peru, IN, the son of William H. and Erma (Dominy) Flook. Gene graduated from Alexandria High School. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard of Indiana. Gene retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 31years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. #662, and the Christian Congregation Church.
Gene is survived by his loving wife, whom he married April 8, 1972, Mary (Beason) Flook; children, Gene (Tammy) Flook, Jr. and Raena (Butch)) Morgan; grandchildren, Josh (Lesley) Flook, Chris (Amber) Flook, Lindsay (Brandon) Fuller, and Coty (Stacy) Morgan; great-grandchildren, Rex, Avery, Parker, Ruby, and Lowen; sister, Teena Flook; step-children, Ralph (Arlene) Ellingwood, Judy (Jerry) Alexander, Nancy (Mel) Jolliff, and Bobby (Trish) Ellingwood; 7 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great grandchildren, and 1 step-great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bill Flook, Eva Lynn, Darlyne Culbert, Ruth Benefield, Hoadley Flook, Janice Brown, Mona Flook, and Owen Flook.
