Geary Lynn Wall, age 60, of Estherville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. He was born on March 18, 1953, in San Francisco, California, to Charles and Ida Wall.
Geary served his country in the United States Marines from 1969, until 1975. He was united in marriage to Joyce Owenby on November 23, 1976, in Houston, Texas. Geary worked for many years as a welder. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Geary is survived by his wife, Joyce Wall; three children, Jennifer Belken (Lincoln), Ruby Wall (Julio Ruiz) and Ronnie Wall; his mother, Ida Parker; three sisters, Jackie Yeager (John), Sherry Beaver (Raymond) and Roxanne Gill (Corey); four brothers, Charles Wall, Butch Parker, Rocky Wall and Stone Wall; step-mother, Joyce C. Wall; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; step-father, Lynn; and a sister, Beverly.
