Gayle Marie Traversy Weber, 56, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, March 25th. She was born on March 4th, 1964 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Adolphe “Al” Traversy and Mary Traversy. She graduated from Terre Haute South in the class of 1982 where she then went on to earn her degree at Indiana State University. She was a registered nurse and practiced her skills in various hospitals. From UF Shands Hospital to Good Samaritan Hospital to St. Luke’s Hospital, she spent some years in Dayton and Pittsburgh, Ohio, Jacksonville, Florida, and Terre Haute, Indiana. She spent many years on the open-heart team at Union Hospital and Regional Hospital. For the past eight years, she’s been on the medical team at Grifols PlasmaCare.
She was a loving mother, friend, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Mary Weber; daughter, Jessica Weber; son, William Weber; sister, Lynne Hutcheson and her husband Edward; brother, Rick Traversy and his wife Louise; two nephews, Travis Traversy and Shannon Hutchison and his wife Clare; niece Sabrina Kuznecoff and her husband Mike; great-niece, Lara Kate; great-nephew, Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Al Traversy.
