Adams; his children, Kelley Tiner Adams and his wife Meredith, Ashley Lauren Paul and her husband Brad. Gary’s life was one of diverse interests and he might be considered a Renaissance man by some. His love of music began early in his life and at one time he aspired to teach. It was a love that was communicated and passed along to his children. His creative nature also manifested itself in his culinary skills and he was considered by some to be a culinary experimenter. Incompatible ingredients quite often became a new and flavorful dish.
Foremost ( except for his beloved NC State Wolfpacks), family, friends, church and love of God were the driving and sustaining forces in Gary’s life. Conversations came easily to him and his desire was always to draw all who were near into the times of sharing that he enjoyed so very much. It is ironic that Gary’s passing came during the Christmas season, as this was his favorite time of the year. He was always intrigued by and never grew tired of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.
