He leaves his loving wife of 45 years, Sherry (Vizcaino) Rautenberg; their two children, Martha Michaud and her husband, Scott of Bolton and John T. Rautenberg of Manchester; three grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Joshua Michaud; three siblings, Janice Hall and her companion, Stefan Kent of Lebanon, Clifford Rautenberg, Jr. of California and Wayne Rautenberg and his wife, Christine of Manchester; and numerous extended family and friends.
Born Nov. 7, 1949 in Manchester, he was the son of the late Clifford and Florence (Dancosse) Rautenberg.
A proud U.S. Marine, Gary served during the Vietnam War before becoming a disabled veteran at the rank of Corporal.
He enjoyed listening to music and feeding the birds at home, but his greatest joy was found in his family – especially his grandchildren.
