Gary Lynn Faile, 66, of Indian Trail passed away on September 12, 2018 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family. Gary was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 14, 1952 to the late Thomas (Tommy) Edward Faile and Frances Helen Moore. He is survived by his brother Greg Faile, sister Lisa Faile Jones, step father Robert Barry Moore, nieces Christina and Hele’na Jones and nephew Michael Jones, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, as well as one son Collin Faile and daughter Whitney Faile in Texas.
Gary was a peaceful, free spirited man with a love for the outdoors, his love for the Lord, and his family and friends. He was a talented, ambitious, fun-loving spirit with an amazing sense of humor, which will be greatly missed.
Gary left his home town in the 1970’s and moved to his beloved town of San Antonio, Texas. There, he was a professional drummer and traveled around the world to play with a well-known country music artist for thirteen years. After that he became employed by a national book publishing company and was soon awarded with being the top Sales Representative in his first year of employment.
