Gary “Diesel” Lee Rosendahl was born to Edna Rosendahl on November 23, 1945, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He lived in rural Claire until the 4th grade and moved to Eagle Grove where he graduated from Eagle Grove High School with the “Class of 1964”.
Gary was a dedicated father never missing his children’s events. Although he worked long hours, he always found ways to be in the auditorium or gym for each and every event.
Gary passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Unity Point Health in Fort Dodge at the age of 76 years. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepdad, Edna and Howard Egemo; grandparents, Henry and Elsie Rosendahl and brothers-in-law, Jerry Bacon and Charles Kleveland.
