Gary W. Soden of Scottsdale was called home to be with our loving Lord and Savior on June 15, 2015. Gary passed peacefully with family and friends by his side. Gary was born in Monroe, Michigan to Fred and Ada (Russow) Soden on July 26, 1945. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David. He is survived by his loving brother Donald, of Jacksonville, Florida and his loving canine friend Suki. Gary had a large extended family of friends, many for fifty years or more. His extended family was extremely important to him as his biological family was small. To know Gary was to love him. Gary moved to Scottsdale in 1972 and truly loved living there. He was a hairstylist for more than fifty years and planned to retire from Scottsdale House Salon in July after twenty-five years as Salon Manager. For many years, along with working the salon, he unselfishly served at assisted living home, caring for those who could not afford a stylist.
Memorials: Gary’s wishes were for any gifts in his memory, be given to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
