Gary K. Hysong, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
He was born December 15, 1939 in Attica to the late Aaron and Donola (Lewis) Hysong.
Gary graduated from Attica High School and served the next four years in the Navy. While in the Navy, he completed necessary courses to certify as an electrician. After the Navy Gary completed and was certified in numerous courses in electronics. He holds several certificates.
Gary worked for Fairfield Manufacturing of Lafayette and Federal Mogul in Frankfort before retiring.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Amy) Hysong of Frankfort, Michael Hysong of Lafayette and Jamie (Brian) Sliger of Lafayette, siblings, Jack (Nancy) Hysong of Tucson, AZ, William (Dianne) Hysong of Attica, G. Calene (Dale) Christophel of Columbus and John (Sharon) Hysong of Lafayette. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Alex, Morgan and Lauren Sliger all of Lafayette.
