Gary Wayne Green, 59, passed away suddenly at his home on April 2. He was involved in Kiwanis, was a Gideon, a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and a faithful member of Flint River Baptist Church. He was an agent for ALFA Insurance.
Wayne was dedicated to his family. He is survived by the love of his life Ava Russell Green, and he was honored to be the father of two sons, David Weston Green and wife Jana and Samuel Clay Green. He was the proud “Papa” of Weston and Eli Green. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Ray F. Green. Other survivors include the mother he adored, Grace V. Green, his brother T. Olan Green and wife Diane, his sister, Kay G. Brown and husband Joe, eight nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
