Gary LaMont Fehlman, age 76, of Crestview, passed away on Independence Day, July 4, 2014, at a local hospital.
He was born April 24, 1938, in Brigham City, Utah, to the late LaMont and Agnes Craven Felhman. Gary served several years in the U.S. Navy, and then worked an engineer in the development of avionics systems, many of which are still in use today. He was a key engineer of the SR 71 Blackbird Reconnaissance Aircraft. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and Florida Seminole Football.
