Gary Dale Cooper, Born November 8th, 1944 to Defford Cooper and Monte Sloan in Rover, Arkansas, Yell County. The Cooper Family made their way out to California to work in Agriculture, witch in turn landed the family in Exeter California. Gary Cooper went home to our Lord and Savior May, 27th, 2022, coincidentally that date happens to be his Brother Shirley Cooper’s Birthday. Gary Cooper was a hard working man that passed on that trait to his Children. Gary was a truck driver for the majority of his life, which the last 30 years of his career he hauled many of hazardous loads of volatile fuel throughout the western United States. He was an amazing father, voice of reason to many things that life had to offer. He Loved to work with wood, sail on his sail boat with his loving wife Sheralyn Cooper at the many lakes here in California. He loved to hunt wild game with his brothers Thomas, and Shirley on trips to Wyoming and Utah. The majority of the hunting done was spent in the Eshom Valley area here in Tulare county, hunting both wild game… and fire wood. Gary also loved watching old westerns, such as Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and Hop along Cassidy. He took in his wife’s daughter Celestina Sosa like she was his own, loved her like she was his own. Gary taught her how to drive a stick shift vehicle, taught her about boys, taught her about life. Gary Dale Cooper loved Celeste as his own daughter. He is survived by his loving wife Sheralyn & his kids Gary Jr , Scott, Neil, & Celeste, as well as Garys late daughter Debbie Cooper. There are too many memories to recount. He’s known to this family as the MAN, the Myth & the Legend. Gary’s words of his passing were as follows “Don’t dwell on my ending, don’t cry over me, but remember the good times and all the memories we all shared”. Gary raised us with major impact, because each of our relationships has their own importance. He owned up and took full responsibilities for his mistakes in life.

2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the lord.”

With this “ Gary Cooper lived his life to the fullest, and wants us to all live all of our lives to the FULLEST”
