Gary A. Herman, 55, our most adored husband, father, grumpa, and pa died peacefully at his home on December 18, 2015, in Stuart, FL, surrounded by those who loved him deeply. Born April 25, 1960, to Jules and Doris Herman. In 1983, he married the love of his life, Jane and together they raised their daughters Jamie and Kimberly. A retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant, Gary dedicated 20 years as a Survival (SERE) Instructor. He continued his career with 15 additional years of committed service to the United States Government. Gary courageously battled stage 4 colorectal cancer for seven years. Despite the cancer, he filled his life with an unwavering love towards his family, his country, his comrades and his cars. A true patriot, he devoted his life to teaching, training and protecting. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Jane {Satriano} Herman, daughters, Jamie H. {TJ} Hinkle of Jupiter, FL, Kimberly A. {Parker} Terry of Warrenton, VA, and 4 precious grandchildren, Kenley, Gavin, Rowan, Eli, his Father, Jules W. {Phyllis} Herman of Houston, TX, his Mother, Doris J. Herman of Katy, TX, his sister, Julie Osborn of Katy, TX, and nieces and nephews.
