Garland L Fredrick, 81, of Markleville, passed away on December 8, 2012 at Saint John’s Health System Anderson. He was born on December 16, 1930 in Anderson and resided most of his life in Markleville.
Garland graduated from Markleville High School. He is a retired Electrician for General Motors, Guide Lamp Division. He enjoyed boating and fishing.
Garland is survived by his loving spouse, Doris Slaughter Fredrick; son, Mike S. Fredrick of Markleville; grandchildren, Travis Lee Fredrick and Danielle Mariah Fredrick; brother, Don Betty Fredrick; brother in-law, Dwight “Bud” Engle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Opal Rex Fredrick; and sister Judy Engle.
