Gail Robert Bob Brunk, 86 years of Virginia, IL died Thursday evening, September 13, 2007 at the Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.
He was born January 25, 1921 in Cass County, IL the son of Charlie Dick and Sidney Armstrong Brunk. He married Rosie Mae Farmer on July 29, 1945 in Jacksonville, IL and she survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Frances Smay (husband, Ed) of Bunker Hill, IL and Delores Dee Fair (husband, Bob) Fair of Virginia; five grandchildren, Tammy Maggert (husband, Dan), Teresa Mason (husband, Gary), John Moody (wife, Michelle), Rob Smay (wife, Jennifer) and Lisa Winnett (Companion, Dan Fairfield); twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Brunk and Bill Brunk; two sisters, Alice Pherigo and Della Sweeten.
Mr. Brunk was a mechanic and later worked on the Heston Murphy farm and then the Gene Crouse farm prior to his retirement.
