Gail Irene Kronemeyer – nee Hamm, 79
San Diego, California.
Gail was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and retired to Venice, Florida with her husband Bob, in 1998.
Gail worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone after high school.
After her marriage to Robert Kronemeyer on May 30th, 1957, she had 3 children and stayed home to care for them.
She went back to work in the mid 1960’s at Donnelly Mirrors where she was employed in the factory for a few years, moving to the office as their main switchboard operator until her retirement.
Gail was an avid Roller Skater and skated well into her 70’s. She made many friends at roller rinks everywhere and the Roller Derby girls in Ellenton, Florida tried to recruit her. They even had an article in the newspaper about the roller skating Granny.
Gail was also a lifelong bowler. She was on many leagues over the years and she and Bob bowled together frequently while they lived in Venice.
Gail loved to work puzzles and find bargains at the Thrift shops.
She loved beach combing, hunting for sharks teeth and sea glass.
Gail is survived by three children;
Julie & Peter Cokinis, Douglas & Bonnie (VandenBosch) Kronemeyer, Diane & Kevin Lagarde;
8 grandchildren; Autumn (Joe Rocco), Curtis Kronemeyer, Elizabeth (Terry Emelander),
Lisa Remlinger, Derek (Lauren Cates) Remlinger, Kelli (Daniel deSousa), Kaycee Lagarde, Nathan Lagarde; 11 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Robert Kronemeyer and her sister Patricia Nyland.
