Gail D. Roop
Gail Duard Roop, 79, passed away April 22, 2016. He was born on June 20, 1936 in Whitetop, VA to Edward E. Roop and Beulah F. Hash.
He married Nancy Ritzinger on August 18, 1971. They later moved to Utah after a motorcycle trip through the mountains. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR, and cooking for his family and friends. He retired as a plumber from Weber State College in 1998.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Mary) Roop, Philip (April) Ritzinger, Marc (Darla) Roop, Clayton (Barbara) Roop and daughter, Linda (J.R.) Collins; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Jack Roop and sister Joyce Moore.
