The beloved and cherished, Gail Ann (Evans) Jackson of Picayune, Mississippi passed away peacefully from this life on the morning of Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the age of 75.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents Robert Evans, Sr. and Ethylene Melerine Evans of Delacroix Island, LA. She is survived by her only sibling, Robert Evans, Jr. of Slidell, LA; four daughters, Stephanie DeLoach of St. Bernard, LA, Shannon Jones of Hattiesburg, MS, Jennifer Carlan of Carriere, MS , and Natalie Taylor and her cherished son-in-law, Heath Taylor of Carriere, MS; five grandchildren, Emily Case, Courtney Valentine, Andrew Jones, Megan Carlan, and Lauren Jones; and three beloved great-grandsons.
Gail was a devoted mother, sister and friend who brought joy to everyone she met. Her purity of heart, gentle spirit of humility and genuine love of Christ enabled her to exemplify a life lived in pursuit of the greatest and most valuable of possessions, both those forever stored within the hearts and minds of her daughters and grandchildren; and the greatest of all treasures, which she finally received on meeting her Savior face-to-face.
It was Gail’s wish than no one mourn on such a joyous occasion.
