G. Eileen Sheela, 90, of 1113 Dewey Avenue, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Williamsport Home.
Eileen had worked at Weldon’s, Brosman’s and Roaring River Mills. She was a member of St. John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church, a choir member from 1970 to 1995 at the former Newberry United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and sewing.
Born October 3, 1920 in Strawberry Ridge, she was the daughter of Ralph and Stella Moser Springer.
Surviving are a daughter, Karlene P. Onuschak, with whom she lived; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Walter R. Sheela; a stepdaughter, Virginia S. Pars; brothers, Leon, Carl and Allen Springer and a grandson, Michael Pars.
