Frieda Maria Hanratty, 84, of O’Fallon, IL, born March 11, 1929 in Lenggries, Oberbayern, Germany, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Frieda had been a tailor in Germany before coming to America. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kasper and Kveszenz, nee Lederer, Koegl, 2 brothers, Joseph and Theodor Koegl and a sister Theresa Wagner. Frieda is survived by her husband Danold Hanratty of O’Fallon, IL, a son Michael J. (Catherine) Hanratty of Hong Kong, a daughter Donna (Kale) Jackson of O’Fallon, IL, 2 grandchildren; Collin Jackson and Kaitlyn Jackson, a brother Kasper (Erna) Koegl, a sister Kresentz Bauer, both of Langgries, Germany and a sister-in-law Anita Koegl of British Columbia, Canada.
