Frederick Thomas Osborne, Sr., age 86, passed away on September 26, 2017, at his home in Bristow, Virginia, surrounded by family. Mr. Osborne was born on November 23, 1930, in Conneaut, Ohio to the late Harry Karl and Veda Marie (Porter) Osborne. He served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1971, retiring as a Master Sergeant. During his military career he served in Germany, Italy, and Korea. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal. After retiring from the Army, he worked for Dominion Power from 1971 and retired in 1990. Predeceased by his parents; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia of Bristow, VA; three children: Frederick T. Osborne, Jr. of Dale City, VA, Rhonda and husband Harvey Lawrence III of Bristow, VA and James Osborne and partner Jeff Minskey of Houston, TX; four grandchildren: Harvey Lawrence IV of Stafford, VA, Joel Lawrence and wife Ashley of Fredericksburg, VA, Samantha Ortiz and husband Zach of Fredericksburg, VA, and Crystal Nistor and husband David of Fredericksburg, VA; seven great grandchildren: Gage Lawrence, Ivy and Mia Lawrence; Reagan and Adrianna Ortiz; Olivia, Hanna, and Melanie Nistor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
