Frederick L. Grzeskowiak, 58, of Greenleaf Lane in South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:53am Monday, February 6, 2006 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in South Bend.
He was born on July 6, 1947 to Clement A. and Josephine (Mirocha) Grzeskowiak in South Bend, IN, and was lifelong resident. He was preceded in death by his father, Clement.
Frederick was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School in South Bend; received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from South Bend College of Commerce; and attended Indiana University South Bend.
Mr. Grzeskowiak was a Custodial Supervisor for Nationwide Janitorial Service in South Bend. He was previously employed, as a Custodian, with the South Bend Community School Corporation from November 1998 until June 2002.
On April 22, 1972, he married Joanne M. Krych at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend. She survives.
Along with his loving wife of 34 years, he is survived by his mother, Josephine Grzeskowiak of Fountainview Place in Mishawaka, IN; two sons, Mark E. Grzeskowiak of South Bend, IN; Eric M. Grzeskowiak of South Bend, IN; two sister, Carolyn Kovacs of Osceola, IN; Sandra (Jim) Pontius of Osceola, IN; two brothers, Thomas Grzeskowiak of South Bend, IN; Melvin (Judith) Grzeskowiak of Elkhart, IN; and by several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Grzeskowiak was a member of St. Hedwig Parish, where he belonged to the church choir and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of St. Joseph Young Mens Society.
