Frederick J. Holloran, III, 64, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Thulin) Holloran for 40 years. Born in New Haven, son of the late Frederick J. Holloran, Jr. and Kathryn (Dunn) Meagher. He was a Meriden resident for 30 years before moving to Newington in 2007. Fred was currently employed as the Vice President of Marketing for Essex Printing and was a member of Holy Spirit Church, Newington. Fred was an imaginative and innovative advertising and marketing professional. He was an avid Yankees fan, his sons having inherited his love of the game. He enjoyed collecting advertising characters and golfing with his buddies. He had a great spirit and sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Above all, he was a dedicated father and loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Along with his wife, he leaves his three sons, Frederick J. Holloran, IV, and his partner Megan Willis of Manchester, Shaun Holloran and his wife Bridget of Clinton and Michael Holloran and his fiancé Laurel Brooks of Newington, and four grandchildren, Aidan Collier, Paige Holloran, Tatum Shea Holloran and Kailen Holloran. He also leaves his five siblings, Timothy Holloran and his wife Patricia of WA, Noreen Zercie and her husband Kenneth of Madison, Daniel Holloran of NE, Toby Holloran and his wife Lisa of Madison, and Jay Holloran and his wife Gerri of Branford, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, two close friends, Earle Douglas and his wife Carolyn and Lawrence Carbonelli and his wife Judy all of Wallingford and many more friends whom he loved dearly.
