Frederick E. Parks, Sr., age 83, of Weston, died peacefully at the
Connecticut Hospice in Branford on Friday, July 15. Fred was the husband
for 57 years of his beloved Theresa “Terry” Talarico Parks who passed
away this past April. He was born in Norwalk on January 15, 1928, son
of the late Irving Ernest and Florence Beers Parks, and his step-dad
John “Jake” Jacobs. Fred served in the U.S. Army in the mid 1940’s and
was retired from Weston Valet where he had worked for 30 years. He
loved baseball, yard work and just sitting out on his porch. He loved
life,especially his family and his dogs and his gentle nature will be
sadly missed. Fred is survived by his 3 children, 2 sisters, 7
grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
