Frederick A. Williams, age 87, of Three Oaks, died peacefully Sunday, March 4, 2018, in his residence in the presence of his family.

Frederick was born April 21, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Donald and Mildred (Denbrock) Williams. He married Marianne Quick on July 11, 1959 in Marshall, Michigan, she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, cousins Leah Williams and Robert Denbrock.

Frederick was an Eagle Scout and an active member of the Church of the Mediator in Harbert, Michigan. He enjoyed woodworking and working on his rose garden and lawn. He attended Ferris State University earning his Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Frederick was a school teacher for 33 years and also worked 28 seasons at Warren Dunes State Park as a Park Ranger.

Frederick will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife Marianne Williams of Three Oaks, Michigan; daughters Kathy (Daniel) Manier of Champion, Michigan, and Helen Williams of Three Oaks; grandchildren Jared (Rachel), Jacob (Rimma), Joseph (Kim), and James (Autumn); 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
