Freddy T. Tyner, 69, Pendleton, died September 26, 2009 at his residence after an extended illiness. He was born December 19, 1939 in Elwood, and resided in Pendleton. Freddy was a toolmaker at Delco-Remy retiring after 38 years of service.

He also served as a sargent in the Air Force Reserves. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; and past member of Elwood Elks. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and a very humble man. He showed his love and support through helping his children with coaching little league and softball.

He liked to collect model trains, woodworking, and working outdoors in the yard. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Helpling Tyner; Daughter Traci Terry Robertson of Pendleton; son Tony Elizabeth Tyner of Cicero; son Todd Marcia Tyner of Fishers. Sister Melany Williams of Carmel, seven grandchildren: Brady & Logan Robertson, Kristen, Michael, & Allison Tyner, Chloe & Griffin Tyner. niece Donita Conyers, nephew Jim Scott. He was preceded by his parents: Frederick Arnold and Martha Newlan Tyner
