Freddy Gene Haller, age 64, of Thayer Street, Grafton, passed away, Monday, October 21, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born October 15, 1949, in Moatsville, WV, a son of the late James Lee Haller and Dorcas Lucille (Weaver) Haller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Louise Ketterman, August 5, 1988. He is survived by his former wife, Roberta “Ruth” (Shumaker) Johnson.
Mr. Haller was a 1967 graduate of Grafton High School. He was formerly employed by Stewart Baking Company, Parkersburg, WV, D’Annunzio Bakery, and Tomaro’s Bakery, as a driver. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.
Surviving are: one son, Freddy Owen Haller and wife Myrl, of Knottsville; two grandchildren, David R. Mayle, Jr, of Knottsville, and Amanda N. Setler and husband Jason, of Simpson; two great grandchildren, Jakub Setler, and Emily Setler, both of Simpson; two brothers, Stephen Haller and wife Gloria, and Eddie Haller, all of Grafton; one sister, Juanita Beirlair and husband All, of Deerfield, OH; one brother-in-law John Coberly, of Beverly, WV; several nieces and nephews; and two good friends Debbie and Rusty Laisure, of Philippi.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Portia “Ann” Coberly and Lula “Madge” Jones.
