Freddie W. Ogle
Freddie Wayne Ogle, age 66, passed away at his home in Ida, Arkansas on May 24, 2015. He was the son of the late Joseph Monroe and Laura Mae (Anglin) Ogle. He was born July 13, 1948 in Shamrock, Texas.
After graduating from Wilburn High School in 1966, Freddie served his country in the U.S. Army. He then began a career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where he served as a power plant operator and mechanic at the Ozark, Table Rock, and Greers Ferry power plants. He retired from the Corps after thirty-five years of service.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents and by eight brothers: Alton, Ernest, Clifton, Eueless “Bill”, Marvin “Pete”, Kenneth, Everett “Pug”, and Jimmy Douglas.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Rhonda Ogle; sons: Jason Ogle and wife, Andrea, of Arlington, Tennessee, and Jarrett Ogle and wife, Angi, of Heber Springs; grandsons: Jonathan and Judson Ogle of Heber Springs and Justin Ogle of Arlington, Tennessee; twin brother, Eddie Ogle of Drasco; sisters: Faye Garrison of Owosso, Michigan and Helen Ogle of Fort Smith; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
