Freddie Harris Jr., 62 of Charlotte, North Carolina, was born to the late Freddie Harris Sr. and Inez Sherman in Ludowici, GA on October 26, 1956 and passed away peaceful with his wife at his side on January 25, 2019 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan Georgia. Freddie retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service and was last employed with the United States Postal Service. In his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag racing, which allowed him the opportunity to drive a NASCARwith Richard Petty Driving Experience.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lowe Harris; children: Freddie Harris III, Frederick Harris, Juwan Harris and Domar Bailey. Siblings: Emma Hayes, Larry Harris, Catherine Smith, Tywon Sherman, Michael Harris and Wanda Washington. Aunt: Mammie Robbins.3 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
