Ernest Fred Shuman 89, of Arthurdale, WV passed away on Feb 26, 2013 at Windy Hill Village with his family by his side. He was born on October 14, 1923 in Fairview, WV a son of the late Emory Loyd and Susanna (Poe) Shuman. His family was an original Arthurdale Homestead family. He graduated from Arthurdale High School in 1943. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving on the S.S. Eugene Field and S. S. Jim Bridger.
